
T-ara recently released their Japanese debut single "Bo Peep Bo Peep" on September 28th and ranked 1st on the Oricon Daily Chart for singles. This makes them the first Korean girl group to reach 1st place on the first day of their debut single's release. Girl group Rainbow reached 3rd place on their first day their debut single "A," while Girls' Generation and KARA reached 4th and 5th place respectively with their debut single.
On the same day of their single's release, T-ara held a live performance and high-five event in Tokyo at Lazona Kawaski where 17,000 fans gathered. T-ara performed for their Japanese fans their new Japanese song "Bo Peep Bo Peep" and "Roly Poly."
Their performances received favorable responses from Japanese fans who said, "I didn't know about T-ara for very long, but their cat dance is so cute," "The song is really addictive," and "The members are all pretty and cute."
Prior to the show, T-ara had a special high-five event with 2,500 fans as a thank you that lasted approximately 2 hours.
T-ara is set to prepare their Japanese activities with appearances on Fuji TV and NHK TV programs.
