SM Entertainment has revealed members Kai, Luhan, Tao, Chen, and Sehun as members of EXO so far. The first four revealed EXO members made their first appearance at the 2011 SBS Gayo Gaejun (Korean Music Festival) where they performed with their fellow SM Entertainment artists for a special "SM Orchestra" stage.

On January 25th, SM Entertainment released a teaser of the seventh member of EXO, XIU MIN. For the 11th EXO teaser, SM Entertainment revealed a more cinematic teaser featuring XIU MIN and KAI. The song in the teaser is titled, "Let Out The Beast," which will be on EXO's debut mini album.
