Singer Shoo recently appeared on KBS’s "Vitamin-Pain" and was diagnosed with the most critical ailments amongst the other cast members.
On that particular episode, all of the cast members received health checkups which involved clinical counseling, bone density tests, X-rays, flexibility tests, electromyographies and ultrasonographues. The results from these tests were used to calculate the pain rankings of the cast members. Each cast member revealed their various types of pain before the results of the medical tests were released.
In the final round, Shoo and actress Kim Hyo Jin were competing for 1st and 7th rankings and finally it was decided that Shoo was ranked number 1 in terms of pain risk. The doctor said that she had osteoporosis and that she "needs to receive medical attention." The doctor went on to say that due to her mentioning that she had thumb pain, it was discovered that she had "De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis and myofascial pain syndrome around her shoulders and neck" and that if she doesn’t get proper treatment now, she may suffer further from various pains at an older age. Shoo attributed her illness to being in an uncomfortable posture while breastfeeding in the postnatal care center and that her own mother cautioned her to quit breastfeeding for the sake of her own health.
Kim Hyo Jin, on the other hand, was the youngest of the cast members and was said to have the strongest joints and passed all the tests. She was also said to have excellent flexibility.
Following Shoo, the rest of the rankings of the cast members went to Cheon Won Joo, Hwayobi, Lee Sang Yeong, Lee Dong Jun, Lee Sook, and lastly, Kim Hyo Jin, with the least amount of pain.
