The 2011 SBS Korean Music Festival took place tonight, December 29th, at the Ilsan Kintex. The night was full of exciting performances from the hottest K-Pop artists of the year. This year's show was hosted by Lee Seunggi, Girls' Generation's Yoona, and Song Jihyo.
The line-up for this year's show included TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, 2NE1, BEAST, Wonder Girls, KARA, CNBLUE, T-ara, IU, Lee Seunggi, Kim Hyunjoong, 4minute, f(x), Brown Eyed Girls, Davichi, Teen Top, G.NA, U-Kiss, Infinite, Dal Shabet, and A Pink, as well as a number of special collaboration stages.
BANG&ZELO opened up the red carpet event tonight by performing their track, "Never Give Up." Kicking off the official ceremony, Girls' Generation started with a performance to Daft Punk's "Technologic" and were followed up with a performance from Super Junior. They then performed a dance routine to Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger". This year's top rookies, Dal Shabet, B1A4, A Pink and Boy Friend, also took the stage for performances of their hit songs, as well as collaboration performances.
Other special performances tonight included the debut stage of the Pledis Boys. Four members of EXO, Kai, Luhan, TAO, and CHEN, performed their debut stage with their fellow SM Entertainment artists. In addition, B.A.P's teaser was revealed during the show.
