[size="3"]2NE1:[/size]
Teasing fans for their upcoming promotions in Japan, 2NE1 spared their time and offered their Japanese fans an invitation to their appearance on TV Asahi's "Music Station". To celebrate 2NE1's concerts, close friends and fans of the group sent in their congratulatory rice wreaths for the event. According to reports, the rice wreaths donated weighed a total of 2.2 tons and 2NE1 gained even more attention for having wreaths sent in by their international fans as well.
The Japanese PV of their song "Ugly" was released on August 26th through their official YouTube channel. The PV revealed that the chorus of the song has been kept the English intact, with the remaining of the song sung in Japanese. In July, 2NE1 released their 2nd mini-album along with their title song, "Ugly." The official application for "Ugly," hosted by SBS Contents Hub, has been released for the iPhone. After a long promotional stint for her online "Not Ugly" campaign, 2NE1's Dara finally announced the details of the contest and its winners.

2PM performed "I'm Your Man" on TV Asahi's popular music program "Music Station." 2PM discussed their likeness to animals and showcased the value of teamwork on this week's episode of the "2PM Show."
[size="3"]After School:[/size]
After School UEE's thin figure drew concern from netizens this week. After School was praised for their performances of "Bang!" and "Let's Do It" on the Japanese show "Sukkiri" this week.
[size="3"]A Pink:[/size]
A Cube Entertainment, A Pink's management company, announced this week that the members of A Pink have been affected by people impersonating them and opening accounts in their names on Facebook. A Cube confirmed that the members of A Pink do not have Facebook accounts. The members of A Pink became models for Converse Korea's "Stadium Jumper" this week.
[size="3"]BB.Boys:[/size]
On August 24th, BB.Boys released their debut mini album, "First Album." The same day, they also released their music video for "We Will Be Okay." Their debut track features G.NA, but she was unable to film and appear in their music video.
BB.Boys performed their debut stages on this week's episodes of Music Bank and Music Core.

On August 29th, Cube Entertainment revealed that they filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family to get BEAST's "On Rainy Days" unbanned. BEAST performed at the Tokyo United Cube Concert on August 25th with 4minute and G.NA.
On the August 26th episode of SBS E! TV's "Son Ho Young's K-Star News," the trainee days of the "Recycled Group" BEAST were revealed.
[size="3"]Big Bang:[/size]
At the end of May, Big Bang's Daesung was involved in a car accident that caused the death of a motorcyclist named Hyun. After months of inquiry, Big Bang's Daesung was found not guilty by a jury for Hyun's death. Rumors have been circulating recently that Big Bang’s Daesung was to be married. However, an official from YG Entertainment has dismissed the groundless rumor.
On the 19th of August, Big Bang's Seungri was spotted watching the musical "Street Life" at the CGV Pop Art Hall in Yeongdeungpo, South Korea, and he attracted a lot of attention from netizens. On August 25th, Big Bang's music video for their "The North Face" song was revealed.

After making their debut last week on the music shows, Chocolat's official YouTube channel was updated with a video titled "Chocolat's Story." The members of Chocolat also released their "Syndrome" dance practice video this week.
[size="3"]Dal Shabet:[/size]
Dal Shabet filmed a scene for the upcoming movie "Wonderful Radio" (tentative title), which features Lee Minjeong and Lee Jeongjin.

Ahead of the concert, SM artist f(x) has greeted fans via Facebook in preparation of "SMTOWN LIVE in TOKYO SPECIAL EDITION."
[size="3"]G.NA:[/size]
G.NA was selected as the new model for Lefee Lingerie this week. G.NA performed at the Tokyo United Cube Concert on August 25th with 4minute, and BEAST.
G.NA performed her comeback stages of "Top Girl" on this week's episodes of Music Bank, Music Core, and Inkigayo.
[size="3"]Infinite:[/size]
Infinite surprised fans this week with 3 releases in Daily Hanteo Top 5 rankings. On the weekly charts, "Over the Top" is still in the fourth spot, just behind 2NE1, Girls' Generation, and Super Junior.
After the performances on this week's episode of M! Countdown, six groups came together for another performance in the Mnet M! Countdown Dance Battle. Various groups as Nine Muses, Brave Girls, Infinite, Teen Top and Block B took it up against each other to see who's the best in the end. Infinite's Hoya and Dongwoo were put against Teen Top and ended up winning the dance battle that night on M! Countdown.
[size="3"]Jay Park:[/size]
On August 25th, officials from KBS 2TV's "Immortal Song 2" stated that because he is preparing for a US album, Jay Park will be departing for the US on August 29th after his final recording of "Immortal Song 2."
[size="3"]JYJ:[/size]
It was decided that the proceeds from the JYJ charity concert which took place on June 7, 2011 will be donated in the form of 1,000 NukAlerts, a radiation detector, to children in the city of Souma. JYJ released a "2011 Fall NII Collection" behind-the-scenes video this week.
[size="3"]KARA:[/size]
The cover and tracklist for KARA's third album, "Step," were revealed this week. KARA's Seungyeon released "Because of Love" for Part 8 of the OST for the drama "Warrior Baek Dongsoo" this week. KARA released their first teaser for "Step" this week as well.
[size="3"]Leessang: [/size]
On August 24th, Leessang released their 7th studio album, "AsuRa BalBalTa." The music video for their title track, "Turned Off the TV," was released on August 23rd. "Turned Off The TV" took the #1 spot on Olleh Music's weekly music chart this week.
[size="3"]MBLAQ:[/size]
MBLAQ performed their own version of the "Milk Song" on this week's episode of Inkigayo. MBLAQ will be continuing their promotions with follow up song "I Don't Know" on the music shows next week.
Wei Chen revealed "Run Away" featuring MBLAQ's Joon and Thunder this week. "Run Away" was performed on this week's episode of M! Countdown.

miss A performed their goodbye stage of "Good Bye Baby" on this week's episodes of Music Core and Inkigayo. SNSD's Hyoyeon confessed that miss A's Min has an embarrassing personality on the show "Declaration of Freedom Saturday – Secret."
[size="3"]Nine Muses:[/size]
On August 24th, Nine Muses released their dance practice video for "Figaro."
[size="3"]Rain:[/size]
Rain finished filming for his movie "Take Off: Closer to the Sun" this week.
[size="3"]SISTAR:[/size]
While in the waiting room, SISTAR's Hyorin took it upon herself to keep herself from getting bored and showed off her flexibility by placing herself in a box. SISTAR took over the 1st spot the new Billboard "K-Pop Hot 100" chart with their title song, "So Cool," and was featured on Billboard's front page the launch was announced! Hyorin recently appeared in a pictorial for SURE magazine and gained attention for her very charismatic charm and presence in the photos.

Girls' Generation's Sooyoung involved in a car accident this week. Best wishes to Sooyoung as she recovers!
SNSD's Hyoyeon confessed that miss A's Min has an embarrassing personality on the show "Declaration of Freedom Saturday – Secret." SM Entertainment denied that "HikkUp" is Girls' Generation's new title song. A third date was added to Girls' Generation's concert in Taiwan.

Super Junior took home the first place trophies on all of this week's music shows (M! Countdown, Music Bank, and Inkigayo). Yesung celebrated Super Junior's triple crown win on M! Countdown this week.
Super Junior released the music video for their follow up track "Superman" that they will be promoting next week on the music shows.
[size="3"]T-ara:[/size]
Core Contents Media sent out an official statement regarding Jiyeon's right knee injury, confirming that all of her activities will be temporarily postponed until she has recovered. T-ara's Japanese MV teaser for "Bo Beep Bo Beep" aired on Japanese TV this week.
T-ara performed their goodbye stages of "Roly Poly" on this week's episodes of Music Core and Inkigayo. T-ara will be promoting "Bo Peep Bo Peep" in Japan in the upcoming months.
[size="3"]The Boss:[/size]
The Boss will be releasing their first DVD including episodes 1 to 31 from their Japanese show "Daebak! Daikoku Danji." The Boss revealed their music video for their 3rd Japanese single "Love Parade" on August 26th.
The Boss performed "Love Power" and "Love Bingo!" at the Mezamashi Live event this week which attracted over 3,000 fans. The Boss also performed their upcoming single "Love Parade" for the first time at the event. "Bada" starring Jay will have its first cinema screenings on August 29th at the KU cinema at 8PM and on August 30th at CGV Apgujeong at 8:30pm.
[size="3"]U-Kiss:[/size]
On August 26th, a new website and the corresponding statement was launched that Kim Kibum will start working under a new stage name, Allen, in Japan. He was also cast as an actor in a musical, and will have his debut in the stage play "Bond 2011, Boys Be Ambitious!"
U-Kiss revealed their tracklist and cover for their upcoming album "Neverland" this week. The first single to be released from "Neverland" was "Someday," which was released on August 26th.

On August 25th, ZE:A's Kwanghee celebrated his 23rd birthday and updated his me2day account with a photo of himself surrounded by the presents he received that day with a big smile on his face. Presents included several bears, pillows, neck pillows, cakes, and more.
On August 30th, ZE:A released a special music video for their song "Wait Yo!" from their special summer single "Exciting!" Currently, ZE:A is in Japan for their Japanese promotions.

Cube Entertainment has successfully finished their first family concert in Japan on August 25th in Tokyo, Japan. The United Cube concert was held at the Nippon Budokan where Cube artists' 4minute, BEAST, and G.NA performed in front of 10,000 Japanese fans in the audience.
Isak from SM Entertainment confirmed that SMTOWN Live in New York would be taking place this October. An official date has not been released yet.
The Korean Music Wave 2011 is scheduled to be held in Malaysia, featuring a number of popular groups and bands including G-Dragon, T.O.P, and Seungri, singer Park Jungmin of SS501, FT Island, 4minute, U-Kiss, and Teen Top will perform at the Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on September 24th.
[size="3"]Dramas/Movies:[/size]
Park Jinyoung was confirmed as the lead role in the upcoming movie "The 5 Million Dollar Man." It was also revealed that Han Hyojoo might join Jang Geunsuk for the upcoming drama, "Love Rain."
"Bada" starring Jay will have its first cinema screenings on August 29th at the KU cinema at 8PM and on August 30th at CGV Apgujeong at 8:30pm.
