Today, Hwanhee will prepare to enter the military officially to fulfill his 2 years mandatory services to his country. The news of his enlistment was announced last week.

Hwanhee will enter the Nonsan military camp in the Chungcheong Province where he will go through a 4-week military basic training session. After that, he will be serving as a public personnel for the next 23 months. Hwanhee is serving as a public personnel due to his re-occuring dislocation shoulder problems, and has been stamped as Level 4 after his physical examination.

Enlisting military men who are dubbed Level 1 thru 3 will usually go through active enlistment, while Level 4 will serve as public personnel, but still go through the same basic military training.

According to one of Hwanhee's officials, the vocalist had desired to serve as an active soldier. Last week, Hwanhee left a message on his official fan cafe, bidding a temporary farewell to his fans and asked them to wait for him.

Meanwhile, with Hwanhee leaving, he has handed off the baton to the upcoming 5-member group MYNAME (who were nicknamed the Hwanhee group), who will make their official debut tonight on M! Countdown with the title song "Message."
