The popular band FT Island recently released their 5th single "Let It Go!", the band's first fully self-written song since their debut. The title track was written by Hongki and Minhwan and composed by Jonghoon. FT Island, known for their most recent K-pop song "Hello Hello" in which Hongki made famous his signature "rocking motion dance" and his "hello hello" hand gestures, returned yet again to Japan after their Korean promotions finished.

On July 27, the day that their new Japanese single was released, "Let It Go!" already ranked in 4th place on the Oricon chart, which is equivalent to the American Billboard Chart. "Let it Go!" will start airing next month on popular Asian show "Street Fighter"'s August Opening Selection.

FT Island is currently on their Japan tour, "2011 SUMMER TOUR~Messenger~", which began in June in Nagoya. They have already performed in Osaka and will proceed to Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Budokan.
