Tonight on the 308th episode of Music Core, JYP made his comeback with "Someone Else" and "You're the One." Baek Jiyoung performed her comeback stage of "Good Boy" featuring Junhyung as well. Dalmatian returned to the Music Core stage with "E.R." from their mini album, "State of Emergency." Infinite made their comeback on tonight's episode of Music Core as well with their ballad track "Only Tears" and their title track, "The Chaser."

Gang Kiz performed their debut stage of "Honey Honey" while 4minute and Norazo performed their goodbye stages of "Volume Up" and "Man's Woman" respectively. Sata Andagi performed their last live stage of "Racing" on tonight's episode of Music Core as well.

Other artists that performed on tonight's episode of Music Core included Taetiseo, SISTAR, APink, EXO-K, B.A.P, Mighty Mouth, Hello Venus, and more.

SHINee’s Japanese sales for single “Sherlock” reaches second place on Oricon

SHINee's single "Sherlock" reached second place on Japan's representative music ranking site, Oricon on May 17th. They achieved the status on the singles daily chart after just one day, their single having gone on sale on the 16th of May.

This particularly significant for SHINee as they managed to overtake popular local group AAA, who was pushed to number three with their single "Still Love You". AAA had released their single on the same day as SHINee.

SHINee's Japanese version was a follow-up from their Korean version, which had been released on March 19th. Back then SHINee had met up with reporters from OSEN, where they stated, "After a month of activies in Korea, we will be promoting earnestly in Japan. We will work as hard in Japan as in Korea."

Previously "Sherlock" had come in first on Taiwan's music chart G-MUSIC (April 20th to 26th)and FIVE MUSIC (April 20th to 26th), amongst others.

Meanwhile SHINee has completed a Japanese arena tour, and will be holding twenty performances in seven Japanese cities till July 1st.

Baek Jiyoung returns to M! Countdown with “Voice” and “Good Boy”

After releasing "Voice" featuring LeeSsang's Gary earlier this month and the MV for "Good Boy", featuring BEAST's Yong Junhyung, shortly afterwards, soloist Baek Jiyoung made her comeback on M! Countdown. "Voice" and "Good Boy" are the lead singles off of Baek Jiyoung's latest EP, "Good Boy".

Baek Jiyoung's performance of "Voice" on tonight's episode M! Countdown showcased her powerful vocals and heartfelt lyrics. "Voice" is a tender, uplifting track that complements Ivy's voice excellently. In addition, Baek Jiyoung performed "Good Boy", which excited the M! Countdown crowd with its synth heavy melody and heavy beats.

JYP comes back to M! Countdown with “Someone Else” ft. Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain

With his EP "Spring – 5 Songs for 1 Spring" releasing earlier this month, along MV for the track "Someone Else" ft. Brown Eyed Girls' Gain also releasing through JYP's YouTube channel, JYP has finally returned to the live stage on tonight's M! Countdown, after delaying his comeback due to voice loss. The EP marks JYP's first physical release since his previous EP "Sad Freedom" in December of 2009.

The R&B veteran and producer delivered a captivating performance of "Someone Else", filling the stage with his presence and charisma and was joined by Brown Eyed Girls's Gain.

IU thanks fans for birthday presents

On May 13th, the singer wrote on her official fan cafe, "Thank you for the presents."

She added, "So many presents. It took an hour for the two of us to open them. Bbukku (her puppy) was the most excited. Thank you everyone. I want to give something as a present too. What would be good? It's not my birthday, but already it feels like it. Thanks everyone. I'll repay you guys for this, for sure."

She also uploaded photos to illustrate the number of presents she had received. The photos show the various gifts that fans had sent for her twentieth birthday displayed neatly. A speech bubble added to a picture of Bbukku, saying "I'm satisfied," amused many netizens.

Fans left comments like, "Happy birthday from the bottom of my heart", "How are you going to pay us back for the presents?", "I hope you have a blessed twentieth birthday" and "How can your heart be so pretty as well?"

Meanwhile, IU tweeted on May 16th, her actual birthday, "Wow, thanks to my fans. These are standing in the company's corridor. Thank you." A photo of rice and flower wreaths accompanied her tweet.
